Preparation of Gajar Halwa



  1. Medium carrots,grated
  2. pure ghee
  3. skimmed milk
  4. green cardamom powder
  5. sultanas
  6. khoya,grated
  7. sugar free nature diet sugar
  8. pistachios,blanched ,peeled and sliced


1-heat pure ghee in kadai.add grated carrots and saute for about five minutes.

2-add skimmed milk and cook.

3-add green cardamom powder,sultanas,sugar free nature diet sugar and mix.cook for about ten to fifteen minutes.

4-add khoya and mix .cook till the mixture is almost dry.garnish with pistachios.

5-serve hot or cold
